We all know that Jessica Simpson’s wedding ceremony was something that everyone looked forward to. The famous actress was married with her fellow singer, Nick Lachey before in 2002. Their marriage only lasted about three years before the couple divorced in 2005.
Jessica then met her new love, Eric Johnson who became her future husband several years later.
After spent 5 years together as a couple and had two children, Mazwell and Ace, Jessica and Eric have decided to tie the knot! What a surprising and delightful for Jessica’s fans!
The 34 years old actress and her new husband, Eric Johnson finally got married on July 5, 2014. Although this was the second marriage for Jessica Simpson, she and her husband wanted to make it look like the first for them.
The ceremony was held at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. Attended by only 275 guests including family and close friends, the ceremony was sacred and private.
However, our attention was not only paid on the ceremony itself but also the wedding accessories. One thing that drew the attention the most was of course Jessica Simpson wedding rings!
Jessica Simpson engagement rings exactly looked sweet and antique. The engagement ring is a vintage ring that is originally from Tiffany & Co design back then in 1910. It has a round ruby and two pear shaped diamonds on the yellow gold band.
It is said that Jessica’s vintage engagement ring was chosen by Eric himself. He decided to pick ruby, the July birthstone which matches with his lovely wife’s July birth date. This choice was certainly an excellent one because ruby is always a classic, romantic and luxurious gem for a wedding.
For the wedding rings, the couple decided to get wedding bands matching design with Jessica’s engagement ring. Jessica Simpson wedding ring is a yellow and gold ring featured with a stunning five carats of round bezel and diamonds with marquise shape. The design certainly gave the best vintage but still modern look for the beautiful bride.
The bridegroom had a slightly different wedding band design. Eric was looking for a unique men’s wedding ring which still matched with the bride’s engagement ring design. For that reason, Eric Johnson wore a yellow gold band featured with a ruby and diamonds which was designed by Los Angeles jeweler, Neil Lane.
In addition, the breathtaking ring also came with an incredibly beautiful gown from the well known Carolina Herrera. The gold gown featured with golden lace and tulle fitted perfectly with her look at the wedding ceremony.
